Behshahr Industrial Company (Public joint-stock) is the biggest and oldest company in Iran that produce all kinds of vegetable oils (hydrogenated, partial hydrogenated, liquid, frying, confectionary, bakery, cooking) which was established in 1951. With regard to increase in domestic and international markets demands, the Company took action for development and renovation of its fundamental and manufacturing plants in different phases during the past years. Performance of such projects, the capacity of Company production respectively increase from 170 to 250 tons per day in 1969 and then to 400 tons per day in 1977. In 2004, this company jointed to Savola Co. and Margarine Co. By performing the third development and renovation plan since 2005, a daily production has increased to 1000 tons that the company can absorb more than 30% of market share in Iran (for home and industrial consumption). Behshahr Industrial Company always pays special attention to consumers health and quality of its products, observes all rules and national standards that Confirmation of Institute of Standard and Industrial Research of Iran (ISIRI) and high satisfaction of all consumers, implies ideal quality of vegetable oils which produce by this Company. Behshahr Industrial Company has more than 800 qualified personnel, vast facilitation such as modern machines, improved laboratories for research and control that has also dominated the major export market such as republics of Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Persian Gulf region with high quality. Obtaining Quality Management Certificate ISO 9002 in 1996, Environmental Management Certificate ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 in 2003, Behshahr Industrial Company was selected as the first Company in 2002 in food industry who has obtained international product certification for quality of all products from SGS Company (Switzerland). In 2003, the company selected by ISIRI as an exemplary producer and export unit. In the past, Behshahr Industrial Co. was supplying its products under brands of Golnar, Shahpasand and Bahar and presently it supplies the product to the market under brands of Ladan, Bahar, Nastaran and Shahpasand. Products of Behshahr Ind. Co. in different packages are as follow: - Hydrogenated (ghee) and liquid vegetable oils for home and Industrial consumption. - Shortening vegetable oils for confectioneries, biscuit making and foodstuff factories. - Soybean liquid vegetable oil for sauce production factories. - Partial hydrogenated vegetable oil for frying that is suitable for families, foodstuff industries and confectioneries consumption.
